King String

My king-size bed needed another quilt. 

  The top is made of scraps and is called a "string quilt".  (The back I found at Walmart--108" wide!!) 

  I spent money to have it quilted because it is so large.  The quilting design is a Dogwood flower.

King Quilt for my Bed!

Biggest quilt I ever made.  Simple block.  High contrast.  Finished size 130" x 106".  I took it to Ontario, Oregon, to be quilted by Shirley for $100.  I've never paid to have machine-quilting done before, but it was way too big to do on my sewing machine.  Still need a headboard!
